Since all ports were powered and the data transfer speed was the fastest, I gave this newbie a try. The first impression is the packaging. It looked like it was printed on a low toner 90's bubble printer. Opened it up and the port cuts are terrible. The laser cutter, apparently tuned to something between a battleship hull and an I-beam, simply seared this thin hull with rough, off-center, and slightly warped edges for portholes. Plug it in and as others have said, you hear lots of high-pitched buzzing noises that make me wince with discomfort even in a drawer under my desk.
