I have mild receding gums and wanted to gently brush my teeth to see if that could stop the gum recession. Also, I'm always on the lookout for super soft brushes for my greyhounds whose teeth NEED to be brushed and who have amazingly soft gums. These brushes are AMAZING for both purposes. My only concern is that as others have pointed out, it's almost impossible not to collect water/moisture at the base of the brushes since they're so dense... what I do is dry them. I wipe it off on a towel after each combing and rinse. Once a week I apply hydrogen peroxide to the brush head, making sure to get to the base. Then I leave it on and rinse it out before the next use. I decided to replace them more often than other brushes. I'm actually going to look at one of these UV brush cleaners as I think there is a real risk with these brushes. Other than that - I love love love her! It's like a dental spa!
