It was a problem from the start! There were no instructions included with this set. After about a week, the headlights on one wheel stopped working. Both wheel mounts came loose within the first week due to improper fitting (or again without instructions I guess) and now one of the wheels broke while my 6 year old was riding! Errors in learning to ride are to be expected, but not by breaking the wheel off the shaft. Thinking about it in hindsight, I probably should have put shims on the outside of the bearing. Maybe I'm just stupid for not understanding how to properly install something as simple as training wheels, but there's no good reason NOT to include instructions.
