I'm almost always 8.5m a little smaller than average but this sock was much wider and longer than 8.5m; it really is a nine. I even tried putting my orthotics in, but strangely they didn't fit, even though they did fit other 8.5M shoes. large wide toe box but narrow closer to the arch (which was perfect for me at the time) but my toes were floating and there wasn't enough lateral support that it felt like my big toes were hanging off the sides of the shoe. My bows were poorly supported. Pros: The sole is very soft and comfortable and the shoe was very light, which probably explains the lack of support. If you don't need a lot of support and have a slightly wider foot (in the forefoot but not in the arch) this might suit you and it's a nice shoe.
