This monitor works great with 5D Mark II. Just having a larger monitor makes critical focus easier. The built-in peaking and histogram functions are also very useful and work without any problems. The accessories that come with it are also very useful. The sun visor is excellent and attaches securely to the monitor. It feels incredibly strong. Different battery plates are also useful so that you can use batteries that fit your camera (Canon or Sony only). The included ball mount is a little fishy, so it might be worth replacing with something more durable if possible. Power consumption is decent, we were able to shoot for hours on end without draining the battery. This model was specially developed for Canon. 5D mk II DSLR and I would recommend it to people with this camera who are looking for a cheap external monitor.
