The item itself came in a tiny ziplock bag in a different container which I don't particularly remember, but at best the packaging was fine. The product has many strips of tape that you need to peel off as they will cover the glue. The item will be shipped flat and you need to bend it CAREFULLY as it will fold into your phone. The whole process shouldn't take more than 20 minutes and the device works fine, however, there is one very important issue. I've been trying to fix my iPhone 8+ for months (mostly just thinking it might be wrong) and here's what went wrong plus an update. The iPhone 8+ worked great for about 6 months until unfortunately I dropped it on concrete which stopped the service on the phone. Not to mention I bought a phone with a faulty Taptic Engine since it was in use. After using an iPhone 6+ for a few months, I realized that getting my iPhone 8+ repaired is better than spending $400-$1,000 on a new phone. I understand that I could switch to Samsung, OnePlus, etc., but. I already have many Apple products, so using an overpriced iPhone will serve me more. I started work in June and bought the kit and this antenna to fix my phone and the whole process went smoothly. I also checked out the Taptic Engine and found that the screws were just missing, so I re-tightened them and it worked like new! I had hope but unfortunately I couldn't update my phone as the message "I'm no longer connected to the internet" kept popping up even though I was able to download/watch what I wanted. This led me to believe that the issue is related to the right to repair. Yes I fixed the phone but since it wasn't an "apple" antenna the software didn't allow me to connect to their servers as it couldn't verify/authenticate the apple antenna. This means I have no idea what to do to fix my phone as finding a real antenna is too expensive, but finding an alternative that will work with Apple is almost impossible. Like salespeople who lie about your monitor's actual refresh rate, everyone claims their antenna works with Apple products, but do your own research before investing in them. You will benefit greatly from saving money, not time. In short, buy it if you want to fix your phone but find it doesn't actually fix your phone.
