Review on πŸ”₯ Latest Microsoft Surface Pro LTE: Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB - Explore the Newest Version! by Brian Krump

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The Surface Pro LTE is hard to find, but if it is.

My Surface Pro 4, bought less than 3 years ago in 2017, is out of order. I have no idea after being connected to the grid day and night for a year that the battery should have been drained below 50% once a month. There is a way to create a battery report. According to the report, because the new battery worked well for about 16 months, it began to discharge and after 12 months, it only ran on battery for about half an hour and could not return. Shows a full charge, but GOOD that's enough. Solution? but a new screen, a new battery and tools to remove the screen (probably broken, so buy a screen beforehand) and after about two hours if you are very careful, you can return it with a new battery. I can still spend about $200 and try this. BUT I found this Surface Pro LTE which is very similar to my SP4. The LTE version was ONLY made with 8mg of RAM, 256GB of storage and an onboard LTE chip that you can use to connect to one and possibly multiple phone service providers BUT ALSO HAS A SIM SLOT so you can choose from Many different phone providers can choose to get a SIM card from. As I travel a lot I know Verizon has the best coverage anywhere so I activated a different phone line for my account and got a SIM card from them. A few minutes after the installation I had access to LTE. This happens almost immediately upon startup. Adding an existing account to my account costs $20 per month. I already have 3 phones plus a WiFi account with unlimited usage. Each device has the first 15 GB/month of high-speed LTE before each start. So my new Surface Pro LTE is unlimited, and when I hit 15GB I just turn on my phone as a WiFi hotspot and use the rest of the high-speed portion for my Surface. YOU MAY find this Surface Pro LTE (google it) new or refurbished or whatever you call it, but BEWARE because although it can be tested by a retailer or retailer, the battery life after launch may not be 10 hours. learn command line: battery report, so you know how to check the history since the first run and over time. connected. You can ask the supplier if they can provide a battery usage report with battery usage, history, BIOS number and serial number. For me I would have to see it before they ship it BUT AT LEAST they guarantee it is in the box BECAUSE you want to see it before you turn it on and get DAMAGE with huge supplies or NO YOU CANNOT RETURN IT. I'm happy. with this purchase. It was a rare find. It arrived brand new, had never opened the box and I think it's a few years old. Yes, the battery is dead. Yes, it was fully charged in a few hours. Yes, I've been keeping it on battery for about 7 days right now. Yes, it's been used multiple times a day throughout the day. First time today I used it most of the morning before closing the lid (I have an extra keyboard) so about 8 hours of use and I had to plug it in. After about an hour I plugged it in without using it, I unplugged it. and started using it again. It's 9pm and it's time to end my busy day, so I turn it on for the night. I will never run it 24/7/365 again without charging the battery at least one full day a month. Use it or lose it.
