When I first received this zipper tie I was annoyed at how easily it could catch and get stuck and was about to give a disastrous review. That's when I noticed that the zipper teeth are higher on one side than on the other. I took off the tape, flipped it over and bam, smooth as butter! After that, I found the tape easy to use. Even as an absolute beginner, it's pretty easy for me to pull the string. The tongue is nice and heavy with almost no sheen (you can see a little bit on the underside of the tongue but it's barely noticeable). Overall very happy with the product after understanding it!
