Bought for my 84 year old mother. I bought her one in 2015, she loved it. It has received a lot of use from many people. I'm pretty sure it just needs a new battery and a bottom battery connector. Below because a family member fiddled with it and hacked it, not an Acer issue. but since it's 2015 i don't have many parts to fix it and she really missed surfing the internet. What are Chromebooks great for? The battery lasted 4 days before needing to be recharged. She hasn't been around much this week. But the battery lasts significantly longer than in 2015. It's great for her to do what she does, go to Facebook, pay bills and click on things that would infect a regular laptop with a virus! However, because Chromebooks run everything through a sandbox, they don't get infected with viruses. I have a 5 year old c720 and am using it to post this review. They are updated regularly and quickly when you restart them. For everything you're used to on Windows, Chrome has Google Docs and more. I don't miss Windows one bit. Great car at a great price! I love Acer's Google Chromebook.
