Review on High-Speed 20W iPhone 12 Charger: MFi Certified USB C Charger with 6.6FT Fast Sync Cord - Black by Tim Aguilar

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fantastic price, works as promised, photos are not accurate but work has not been affected.

These chargers are good value! They work as promised and my iPhone 7 charging time has been reduced. If you still have that little cube charger that came with your iPhone 7, it's time for an upgrade! However, remember that fast charging depends on three factors: a fast charger (which it is), a phone or device that can be charged quickly, and finally a cable/line that allows for fast charging. If you find that this charger is not charging as expected, you may need to check the device or cable. You can do this by buying (cheaply) a USB tester and a load tester. You can find them here on Revain. These are the small devices next to the charger in my photo. Here are a few things I found using USB Tester and Load Tester. First, I found that iPhone 7s (our two at least) draw about 1.6 amps when fast charging. This is because the phone itself is not designed to charge 2 or 3 amps (think of amps as charging speed, 1 is fast, 2 is super fast, 3 is super duper fast). The new iPhones are of course designed to charge faster. The iPhone 7 came with a small white cube that had a maximum output of 1 amp. So switching to a faster charger will reduce the charging time, but it will never be as fast as 2.0 or 3.0 because I have an old phone. 1.6 amps, not 3 amps (or watts, you can do the conversion). I also noticed that one of our iPhones was so damaged that it only draws about 0.5 amps. And after testing the cables, I found that a few cables limited fast charging because they were cheap or broken, or an old cable that was designed for speed was considered fast 5 years ago. Anyway, I only connected the product because I'm a fan of product photography. I think it's important to have accurate photos of what we as consumers are receiving. In the product photo, most photos say "Qualcomm" but others don't. The chargers I received say "San.Como". As far as I can tell, this does not affect the performance of the product. And if I could give 4.75 stars I would. Good luck with your chargers! However, I have found that towards the end of a charge cycle, say at 95% charge, the iPhone slows down (I have no idea why, but I read that somewhere). So if you find that your iPhone is only charging at 0.5 amps, check the charging percentage. If it's nearing the end I wouldn't worry because that's how they seem to be set up.
