I still have one of these that I use over my cigarette lighter and am happy with it. I needed another one but I need to connect to the battery terminals as the cigarette lighter doesn't get power without turning on the ignition. My problem is that the terminal adapter plugs are too small to fit on the terminal screws. Now they are either cut or replaced. The alligator clips are not strong enough. I would be wary of purchasing unless you are using a cigarette adapter. Such a simple solution should not have escaped the developer's attention!
