I received these gloves as a gift a few years ago. I tried them on when the temp was over 30 and it was too warm. My hands were so sweaty that I had to take them off. So I set them aside for "future" use. The other day I was shoveling snow with my ski gloves and they broke. I then remembered these gloves and got them. The temp was about 20, the gloves were roasted but not too warm. So I decided to use them for shoveling and bought another pair. When I received the new pair, things looked different. The suede wasn't as rough as the old pair - more rough leather than suede. Then I tried on the new glove on the one hand and the old glove on the other. The new glove felt rough on the inside, but that could be because it was new. The new glove was not as warm as the old one. Also when I tried to make a fist the glove didn't seem to stretch like the old one. Then I looked at the label (see photo) and it said "synthetic suede". The description says suede, and my old gloves were suede. These synthetic gloves are not as good as the old ones. To Revain's credit, a few hours after I reported the issue to them, they updated the description to include synthetic suede.
