I bought this cable for an audio amplifier. I won't claim any audible changes in sound quality as my main goal was to prevent interference from other nearby audio devices. It works great and the sound quality is definitely as good as the old cheap flimsy cable I used. After testing with a cheap thin cable, the sound seems smoother and has more bass. This is useful for high current power amplifiers. I do NOT recommend this cable to anyone. Important points: - The cable is very thick, as thick as a human finger. This gives superficial confidence in power delivery and isolation, but the beauty is only on the surface. The cable is fairly rigid, adding weight and torsion to the device. It bends into place and doesn't offer too much resistance, but installation isn't easy. Its thickness reduces its usable length as the cable needs to be fairly straight. I bought a 1 meter cable and returned it for a longer and thinner cable. Both end connections (device and plug) fit snugly. In general, that's good, but some devices may have smaller ports. Installation can be tricky, but connectors can be sanded or sanded.
