Make sure you have the right tool!
They do not respond well to traditional "d" shaped crimping tools. I was able to make multiple crimps using multiple "Hex" dies designed for use with a variety of coax shields and center pins. I have an IWISS SN-025 crimping tool so I can get it right. You should also look for the right tool so you don't mess up the contacts, break the wires and get frustrated.
