Review on 🧺 Dryel - At-Home Dry Cleaner Starter Kit - 4 Loads (Packaging Image May Vary) by Lisa Couture

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Seems to work on silk. Probably more 'refreshing' than 'deep cleansing', although

PROS - I've used Dryel on a downy winter coat, wool jacket, scarves, sweaters and silk. Top for "long term cleaning" - 30 minutes at medium temperature. All my stuff stayed intact and smelled good. The box says NOT to use the product on silk but my silk top came out really well. I'm not sure why. My silk top is black so maybe the warning is for lighter colored silk? - Easy to use. All you have to do is put your clothes in the included dry cleaning pouch. - Much cheaper than going to the dry cleaner. CONS - As I mentioned earlier, the packaging says not to use the product on silk. Although my silk top came out just fine this time, I'm not sure long-term use of Dryel will damage my silk clothing. Clean the dryer in the same way as a normal dry cleaning. I applied a booster spray to a stain on a wool jacket and it didn't work at all. In contrast, my local dry cleaners have been able to remove some fairly stubborn stains from my clothes in the past. I wonder how much "cleaning" the product actually does and not just scent your clothes.
