I ordered a smaller version of this collar for my cat which has grown out of it. I liked it and I don't think I tried very hard to find this one in a larger size and ordered one with a safety clasp. My cat can untie these collars and they broke within a week. Then I found this one. She can get out if necessary, but only then. It is well made and durable. (The cat may exit if caught by a stretched rubber band on the collar.) It also doesn't erase the hair on the back of the neck. I got rid of nylon collars that became "fuzzy" in a few months. If she hadn't outgrown her first collar, she would have worn it for 2 years. I highly recommend this item!
