Adopts the cutest Shih Tzu whose owner died. We tried different types of food and all of them gave him diarrhea and vomiting. Eventually he stopped eating for 2 1/2 days. They took him to the puppy emergency room, where he was given fluids and medication to settle his stomach. They recommended it along with Hill's Prescriptive Diet I/D (canned). I give him 1/4 cup of pellets and mix it with 1 tablespoon of wet food. He loves it and no more problems! We stick to this diet and carrots as snacks. Nothing more!
