Review on TicWatch Introduces The Ultimate TicPods Collection: TicPods 1, TicPods 2 Standard, And TicPods 2 Pro In Navy by Jason Hill

Started off good but went bad after a while

Finding out that you have a silicon allergy isn't fun. That helped to rule out a number of bluetooth headsets that I had purchased. I had to shop for a particular style of headset, one that didn't have any silicon tips. It's been 2 years since I purchased these and I'm changing my review of them. Initially, I thought they were pretty good. They had the form and shape of ipods and when the ticpods worked, they gave out good sound and were comfortable. I'm not super picky about what I want to hear. It doesn't need to be perfect for me but it does need to be stable and clear without interference. In the beginning, it appeared as though the ticpods were quite good on all fronts but as I used them more, I found problems that probably related to 1 thing. The battery.I thought I was having connectivity issues. I had fully charged the pods a few days ago but when I went to use them, they would connect for a short period and then disconnect. I wasn't sure what was going on. After doing a little research I found out what the problem was. The pods weren't charging properly in the case and they weren't holding the charge when they did. For whatever reason, the contacts weren't completely touching which meant they weren't charging all the time when in the case. So when I pulled them out after a few days, they died within maybe 15 minutes. It's been an ongoing issue since and it's been really annoying.Based on this problem, I'd have a hard time recommending these pods to anyone. Sure the design is nice and they're light and comfortable but if they don't work the way they're supposed to, the other things won't matter.
