I read the reviews and was dismayed to see people complaining that they were thin and didn't last. Then I realized that if the product doesn't hold up, then maybe it's because the tie wasn't used properly. There's a right side and a wrong side, and the reviewer, who complained bitterly about having to throw out the ones that didn't work, must not have noticed. Because they are fragile, they are not as strong as the strong corporate bonds that can be bought. Home businesses, so I think they have a certain niche. I use them when making wreaths and they are perfect. I love that I have six colors to choose from. For me this is a great product.
