Review on Control Changing Twinkle Christmas Bedroom by Amanda Gardner

The first kit I bought looked great but wouldn't go into pairing mode no matter what I did. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to pair, but will turn off after 3 seconds. Power on/off three times, no pairing. When he contacted the seller, he sent me a new set. This connects to 3 on/off cycles. I used the Smartlife app as they suggested and I already had it installed. One animation selected, but after 20 seconds it went to the next animation. I don't care about blinking animations. So I figured I linked it to the Popotan app instead to see if that would be better. When you use this app, the animation stays in the style you choose unless you change it. (Or a random remote control changes it). 🤯Yes, as per other reviews, almost any remote control will affect these lights. Roku, my wall mounted fireplace remote, JBL soundbar, other lightweight remotes. that's just what i've found so far. I'll probably cover the remote sensor on the lights with a layer of foil and tape so it's out of the way, and use Wi-Fi and the Popotan app. Will I buy again? I doubt. I would probably buy a different brand and read all the reviews rather than how many stars it has. still on, others off. I just turned off the surge protector. If Alexa turns them off again tonight, same thing but with a different lightbulb on the other end. Doesn't feel comfortable with random lightbulbs still getting power after being "turned off".
