Terrible interference for new MacBook models (especially MacBook Pro 2019 and newer)

My wife had this product for a while after it was released and complained a bit about interference issues and battery drain. Then she switched to the NORWII N95. When I needed a presentation remote, I decided to give Logitech another try. However, it had the same severe interference issues as my 2019 MacBook Pro. It was basically useless. Malfunctions were manifested by a terrible delay and lack of response. I was able to use it as a slider fairly reliably, but that's about it. So I returned it and bought a NORWII N95 which worked fine. One of the things I liked about the Logitech Spotlight Presenter while it was running was that Logitech now has a separate app for Windows and macOS that you can put on a USB stick and run on other people's computers to see Spotlight activate functions. This eliminates the need to always use your own laptop for presentations. One of the interesting features of the NORWII N95 is that its receiver can be used as a 500MB USB flash drive with presenter setup software preinstalled. The downside to this is that you'll have to remember to eject the presenter every time you plug it in, but that makes NORWII a bit more portable than Logitech (where you also have to carry a separate USB with you). NORWII is also half the price of Logitech. Overall I was very happy with NORWII (although Logitech might have been a bit easier to control prior to the interference issues) and I have no regrets going back. Logitech. So if you really need a remote control for Spotlight presentations (which many do in an age when presentations are widely broadcast over the internet and therefore a regular laser isn't suitable) then I recommend NOT buying Logitech but looking instead for another option, for example NORWAY.
