My 13 year old cockatoo will normally eat most good, acceptable brands of dog food, wet and dry. I thought he liked something other than healthy treats BUT he won't touch it. I've tried feeding him dry as a supplement to his regular dry food, or tried adding warm water to him. He just sniffs and leaves. Although he is an older dog, he has always been fed probiotics, vitamins, minerals, as well as grain-free dry food and excellent wet food. He walks and plays like a puppy, stands upright and is a healthy, intelligent dog. I was wondering if there was any coloring added to this particular Purina dry food that would make the 'cheddar cheese burger' uncomfortable for my dog. It has "TASTE" added in questionable form, not real cheese or burger! The rest of the box of 35 individual plastic bags of food, minus the 2 bags that the dog adjusted his nose to, goes in the trash on Saturday! I was disappointed, won't try again!
