I have trigger finger syndrome on my dominant thumb. I think I probably made it worse by holding my phone in my left hand and holding it with my right thumb. The pain at the base of my thumb has been amazing lately and I've had my index finger snapping. I've tried this in place of a heavy velcro bandage and it's amazing, it's the best I've ever used for an injury! I slept on the silicon thing and figured it wouldn't do anything for my thumb. It goes past the first knuckle almost to my nail bed, it's not too tight, it's not too loose, I have small hands - I wear a size 5 ring on my ring finger on this side. I haven't had a drop of pain since I put this thing on 20 hours ago. Doesn't block blood flow, easily washes off when I wash my hands. I have a white translucent version instead of a nude color. I admit that I have fair skin and it completely disappears. I am absolutely amazed that my pain has completely disappeared and I have been suffering from it for several weeks. I figured I would have to stop using my cell phone for a while. This is the best and I highly recommend it. I don't have the problems that other people have mentioned with too much compression. It turns easily and fits my hand perfectly. I pulled it higher on my thumb. This is just the greatest invention, when it's worn out I'll buy another one!
