This does not look like an OEM product but looks like an OEM version and works well. No instructions were included, but you can find them online at places that sell baby locks. I first watched tutorials on two things: 1) How to set up my serger for the coverstitch, then 2) How to set up the presser foot. Once I understood these procedures, it only took me a few dry runs to get everything working. The instructions say to cut the fabric into 7/8" wide strips, but I have found that a 1" wide strip works better. This helps trim the leading edge of the strip into one point - it's much easier to thread the fabric through the binder. I cut the strips of fabric with a circle cutter - it's easier than with scissors. I made ties for several masks in one simple day and they look high quality and professional. Baby Lock's instructions say to use diagonal cuts, but I've found that straight cuts work well for ties.
