Okay looks like I'm addicted to this thing. Six months ago I got tired of shaving and decided to wax. Do not want it. It was painful, the skin didn't get perfectly clean, there was terrible irritation and itching. I heard a lot about sugar hair removal and decided to do it a second time. I tried to find a salon to sugaring, which turned out to be a very difficult task - it seems that nobody deals with sugaring. But I liked it a lot more - no pain, no irritation - and the skin is sooooo smooth and silky! Next I found sugar paste at Revain because sugaring is bloody expensive. Even with the first 2-3 trial and error (mostly error, yes) it's a lot cheaper to buy pasta and sugar at home (I'm also so busy it's hard to get an appointment and the next salon is still very far away) Here's what I learned the hard way: 1) Buy good products before and after: cleaning solutions, good talc (I used plain cupboard cornstarch, it worked, but next time I'll use professional talc buy) 2) Use nitrile gloves. NITRILE. I bought the cheapest ones and they were a mess - stuck to the paste, then to each other, then torn - so I didn't even have time to put the paste on my skin (laughs) i), make sure you have enough paste to hold on to. The thicker I applied it, the easier it was to remove. 4) Apply the paste against the hair growth and tear off according to the hair growth. Sounds counterintuitive and it took me some time and a few YouTube videos to figure it out. But once I did - no irritation and red dots! 5) The bikini line is still terrible - I've found that applying the paste in a small portion makes it easier and less painful. But it takes longer and the skin gets hot so the paste melts and sticks so I couldn't do the whole bikini area (I mean deep bikini) at once. If anyone has an idea please share. Also, does anyone know how to gloss over very deep? Don't dare make a whole brazilian (didn't want to rip off some of the precious bits along with the sugar lol) 6) Heat the pasta in a saucepan or bowl of hot water (place in the water in a container , be careful not to let water get in!) When heating in the microwave, 10-15 seconds is enough (I overheated the first small jar and threw it away)7 factory website. My hands are not very strong and it was very difficult for me to scoop out the paste. No longer! So all in all I'm very excited, especially since I'm gaining more and more experience with sugar paste. It's inexpensive, I can do it anytime I'm ready, painless - yay!
