This tire pressure sensor is a GM part made in England and will work properly on most 2008 and 2009 GMC Envoy SUVs. It looks like GM are now using an all rubber monitor that does not have a threaded metal shaft and mounting nut. To swap five identical full-size tires and wheels on 2008 and 2009 GMC Envoy SUVs, a tire pressure sensor must be installed on all five wheels to prevent the instrument panel from lighting up. This monitor worked with both our 2008 car and our 2009 car. The monitor package does not include the nut needed to attach the monitor. They are available in a kit (at Auto Zone) that includes the nut, valve, gasket and cap for $2.99, or just the nut for about $5 at a GM dealership.
