After a very, very long debate about what type of desk to choose I decided on a sit/stand desk to get the right height/width. . I have a hefty cutting block (from a hardware store) that I place on top. Most of the time I hold it on the low end, but when we did test runs it held up well without any noticeable hesitation. Three 30+ monitors sit on it, my tower doesn't. The motors work well, are not noisy (IMHO) and the mechanism itself works straight away (I was concerned when I read that this is not always the case). I've only been working for a few months but I'm sorry I've waited so long to purchase/complete this project - a personal touch was definitely chosen for me.
