I didn't aim for high quality, I was looking for reasonable quality, softening and good price because I rehabilitate squirrels. I need a soft one and a decent size for multitasking (sheeting, drying towels after bath) and breastfeeding so I don't carry as much formula as I feed. It's about 30 x 30, no I didn't measure... and the material on *most* of them is thick enough but thin enough that I can toss 15-20 of these in the washing machine and be sure they all come out clean. Overall I'm definitely happy for my purposes, but what about the gift? When for a wildlife rehab? In all senses! If for your adorable niece or nephew or your best friend's baby shower? I'd say you'd probably spend the extra $10 and get one that lasts as long as the kid needs it.
