I was wondering if this item is a miracle. I've read and researched a lot on this topic. I mean, you are essentially buying a giant, expensive, nicely shaped pillow for your child to sleep on. Reading a number of reviews, it seems that many parents like it. I was wondering if my child could get the same benefits. The results came in and you know this is an item that has worked very well on my little one. She sleeps on it for hours. He's made for her. So we had a bassinet from the start, but our baby didn't want to sleep on it. It was awful for her and she had reflux so it didn't help her or us sleep. Then we used Rock and Play. The Rock 'n' Play did well as there was a tendency to help her with reflux. The maximum number of hours we spend in Rock and Play is 4 hours. Some parents claim that rock 'n' play has been their salvation for a long time. For us, it put our little one to sleep without spitting up as much. 7 weeks later she was getting big for it and we wanted to transition her to something more as well. The crib was perfect but we tried it and she didn't like it. Maybe we could spice it up or make it a little more comfortable. But we decided to try something different and decided to buy a docking station. From rock 'n' play to baby bridge, there was no difference for them. She slept well on it. For about 2 1/2 months she gave us 6 hours of sleep. We also trained while we slept. This product has really made sleep training easier. After a week of sleep training, she was able to put herself to sleep. (We also read various books on sleep training, so that wasn't the only thing that made it successful, but this product really made it easier). At three months she was consistently giving us 10-12 hours of sleep. We are proud of this baby! As far as safe sleep goes, the rules say they should lie on their backs, on a hard mattress with no blankets and blah blah. This is safe sleep to avoid suffocation, SIDS, etc. I totally understand that and in an ideal world I would let my baby sleep like this if he could. But like many babies, they can't sleep like that for various reasons (we have reflux). So what should parents do? We have to adapt and figure out how to get our baby to sleep. Our solution was rock 'n' play to dock the baby. We also recognize that putting your baby to sleep at night is not recommended, but we do it anyway. We try to make this as safe as possible given the circumstances (e.g. using Snooza while sleeping). Do what works for you. As parents, we all have our own circumstances and unique solutions to problems.
