Good espresso, bad steam wand

Okay barista. So I got the Delonghi Stilosa and it had its ups and downs. The espresso I made was really good. But mostly because I adjusted it with the dose of ground coffee and the degree of grinding of the beans. Of course not on the first try. I had to time the shots and all that. So basically the espresso portion is pretty good for the price of the machine, but with some manual adjustments of course. Unfortunately, the steam wand didn't do that for me. It was difficult because I'm used to using machines at work that cost thousands of dollars so I can't compare it to that, but the wand just sucks. It's literally meant for barely-warm cappuccino. The temperature never rose too high but created a lot of bubbles. Also when I turned on the steam function, sometimes it was strong but other times it was very weak. Never constant. In case anyone is interested, the size of the tamper is 51mm. I had to buy 3 different ones to find the right size as the machine comes with a plastic bottle. Unfortunately I returned this car.
