Review on Genuine Mazda (KD45-61-J6X) High-Performance Cabin Air Filter by Mike Maez

OEM replacement filter so fits exactly like the stock filter. I had about 65,000 miles on my car and it seemed like some mold was going on inside. I always thought cabin filters were difficult to change, but not on the Mazda 6. I've seen this in other reviews and thought it was overkill, but the whole job only takes 5 minutes and is very easy. I really feel like the air smelled fresher after the air conditioner, there was definitely a lot of junk in the old one. Empty the glove box, detach it and open it fully. The filter is located just behind the glove box and slides right out. Just look it up on youtube, there are a lot of really good instructional videos to help you out. I was actually a bit disappointed with how easy it was - I thought it would save me at least 30 minutes doing other pleasant tasks like cleaning the bathroom! No, I was back inside in no time with a toilet brush in hand!
