I hate cutting fabric. This is the main reason why I don't make as many quilts as I would like because I hate wasting my time cutting and measuring. I'd rather be at the machine that sews these pieces. I received the AccuQuilt along with a double wedding ring stamp and some squares and triangles. Passing the stamps through the fabric and mat cutter is fairly easy. I've learned that the more layers of fabric you have, the more difficult it becomes to walk through, and the accuracy of the cut decreases. This is especially true for the double wedding ring stamp. This cut leaves some scraps of fabric, but depending on which die you use, you may find a lot of scraps of fabric that can be used on other projects. I like Accuquilt but be aware that when purchasing a stamp you will need to purchase the appropriate size mat separately. This annoys me a little - I want each cube to come with a rug. And I can see that the rug has a life - my 10x10 rug will probably be ready to go to the trash by the time I've cut all the million pieces of my double wedding ring quilt.
