I'm not sure what a 5 star pipe cleaner is so I'm giving this item 4 stars. They're like pipe cleaners. I suspect people were angry that they were bad at cleaning pipes, so the name was changed to "Chenille Stems". But honestly, if you're dumb enough to think these things were actually made for anything other than crafts and little kids, then you're probably using iPads as maxipads. And yes, I still call them pipe cleaners. That's what they called them when I was a kid, and I won't call them computers
