I was pleased with this bench except that it was coated with an oily finish. It was packaged well so all I had to do was wipe it down with a towel. However, it would be nice to anticipate such a situation. A note on the packaging could explain the need for oily residue, assuming there was such a need. The bench worked pretty well to make brass earrings in my rock club class. I have no idea if the price was competitive. Convenience was my motivating factor.
