Rectangular mirror, much larger (comparable to a small rear view mirror in a car). The clip for attachment to a flat screen or adjacent bar is large and sturdy. The gooseneck is long enough that you can clip the clip fairly low on the edge of the monitor and still position the mirror over the top of the monitor. The swivel on the back of the mirror offers just enough adjustment so you can still fine tune the position of the mirror once your clamp and gooseneck are in place. The mirror is made of glass (no reflective plastic surface). The only thing that can bother me is that the straight edges of the mirror glass are not protected by any edging. Overall: a good product that is worth the money.
