The gooseneck is long enough that you can clip the clip fairly low on the edge of the monitor and still position the mirror over the top of the monitor. I like the size of this mirror. It is quite heavy because the clip and adjustable metal stand are well made and the mirror is real glass mirror. I could only find one spot on the back of the monitor stand to attach it to. Too heavy for a cockpit shelf and my monitors have "rounded" backs so the clip doesn't attach securely to the monitors at all. Its main disadvantage is that I have a standard view of where the mirror is pointing behind me, and not the far peripheral view I was expecting. I…

This is a higher quality product than I expected, but it didn't have the medium wide angle image I was hoping for. Pictured on the left is my original round mirror (very wide wide angle) and on the right is a rectangular amplifier unit (low wide angle). The ampere mirror is not flat, it has a slightly convex surface to give you a broader idea of what it is showing. I just wanted a little less wide angle than a round camera.
