I like to use microfiber hair turbans after showering because they damage my hair less than traditional towels and they dry my long hair faster. Before trying this hair turban I was only aware of the Turbie Twist brand, which I have used occasionally for many years. This towel is very similar to the Turbie Twist brand, but there are a few differences. This towel comes in a handy zipped plastic bag for easy storage. I suggest you wash this turban before use as it has a strong plastic smell. This towel is fluffier than the Turbie Twist and slightly softer. It has an elastic band around the entire towel and closes with a loop around a large button, which also differs from the Turbie Twist. The advantage of elastic bands is that it firmly fixes the turban. I feel like I can wear it to bed and it doesn't come off as easily as the Turbie Twist. A small minus of the elastic is that it dries my hair very quickly due to the fact that it is quite tight. I have to be careful how long I wear a turban or it can make my hair too dry and wavy to blow dry. I would love it if instructions were included with this product. I'm familiar with hair turbans so I had an idea of how to put them on, but for a beginner it might be confusing. I feel like it's a little harder to put on than the Turbie Towel due to the stretch. I use a turban like this: I lean forward, bow my head, place the button side at the back of my head, then tuck my hair into a towel, twist it, and fasten the loop to the button near the back of my head. . It took me a few tries to figure out how to flatten the curve, it was like inflating my head with a rubber band. You may need to experiment to determine how many turns the turban works best for you. Bottom line I love this hair turban, it's soft, dries my hair well and I haven't had any issues with it so far. Since it dries my hair so quickly, I'll probably use this towel primarily for blow-drying my hair at night. I recommend this towel to anyone who wants to dry their hair with less damage and faster than traditional towels. I think it is best for adults, for small children it will probably be too big, but due to the elasticity, it should fit many head sizes.
