I usually wear an 8 1/2 which is the size I ordered. They're a little big, but not too big. Nothing presses, rubs or presses. I find it very difficult to walk down the street in most sandals and find them to be about as comfortable as any sandal can be. I can walk around the neighborhood and they don't hurt my legs. These are great sandals for the price. If you prefer between sizes, choose the smaller size. I think I can carry an 8 comfortably. It was a great purchase and I'm buying a second pair to have a spare pair.
