Cat parent here. I used this for two catproofing projects:1) I made a "prescreen" for a window my cats enjoy. I stretched it over a very simple rectangular frame and stapled to the frame. I open the window and insert it, closing the window on top (like you'd do with a window fan). This way, I can open the window for ventilation and the cats can smell and hear the outdoors without DESTROYING MY WINDOW SCREEN with their little claws and teeth. Works like a charm.2) They were obsessed with going behind our media center with its ocean of wires and cables so they could squeeze behind a piece of warm equipment. They not only left their fur everywhere back there, but occasionally unplugged something. "Steve! Something's unplugged behind the media center!" was a frequent cry, calling my bf into service to find which of the million wires was loose.We pulled the cabinet away from the wall, unplugged and detailed everything, then stapled the plastic chicken wire across the entire back of the cabinet. We used scissors to snip out just what was needed to slip in the cables and such to reconnect everything. They've only manage to get back there once, and were thoroughly disappointed with the new situation, never to return - so far so good.
