Installation wasn't too bad but took a lot longer than replacing the main door window. They are thinner and more fragile than the original sliders and plates that came with our 2003 caravan and they do not overlap. A piece of the plate had to be cut. The sliding door is shorter than the original so it doesn't overlap at all and only runs halfway up the center bar that holds the panel in place. What we did to close the gap so the bugs couldn't get in was put some strips of window insulation on the inside of the center panel and on the outside of the new sliding door so they touch when closed. We are very happy with this transparent screen. Door panels and sliders look 100% better than the old white ones that were horribly yellowed and embarrassing from the sun. We can see them clearly and they make our camper so much better. I recommend and will buy again.
