We have a 21" door and we were able to get the job done without cutting. We repositioned the bar to fit more than halfway into the guide. in just a few minutes. Cheaper than a new screen door. The plastic doesn't seem durable, but we'll see.

I have a '98 Twister horse trailer and they are perfect for the chains I have now. Removed the old yellowed white parts and replaced them with these. I only had to cut about 1/8 inch off the slider but it was easy to do with scissors.

I bought this to replace the broken one on the trailer we bought. Arrived deformed. The cut has been disabled. Even if I trimmed it to fit, which I don't, the foil would be off-center. Also, I didn't realize the door needed another piece before I got it. So I had to buy it separately. Now they are all useless. We're going to use a flat piece and somehow glue a handle to it. This is the best accessory I have ever bought for my caravan. When you sit, the line of sight is directly on the sliding section, which this product replaces. Instead of seeing a white panel, we can now see the outside through this product. Needs a bit of trimming (easy) as my door is narrow. Installs (easily) in about 10 minutes. I wish I had bought it many years ago! My screen door is 28 inches wide and typically 11.875 inches high (internal dimension of the slot). My stationary part is 17.875 inches wide so I had to move the vertical bar that held this part in place, but I knew I had to do this before I bought it. I used metal snips to cut about .125" in height from both pieces. I painted two small screws white and used them as "filler" for the old screw holes as I needed to drill two new holes for the vertical bar .I

Installation wasn't too bad but took a lot longer than replacing the main door window. They are thinner and more fragile than the original sliders and plates that came with our 2003 caravan and they do not overlap. A piece of the plate had to be cut. The sliding door is shorter than the original so it doesn't overlap at all and only runs halfway up the center bar that holds the panel in place. It was a very easy install. All I had to do was remove the small plastic nails holding the vertical center bar to the screen door. The old parts fell out. The sliding door part matched my original part perfectly. The solid part (on the right) was about 2 inches larger than I needed. I used my old piece as a template and overlaid it on the new one.
