It was a very easy install. All I had to do was remove the small plastic nails holding the vertical center bar to the screen door. The old parts fell out. The sliding door part matched my original part perfectly. The solid part (on the right) was about 2 inches larger than I needed. I used my old piece as a template and overlaid it on the new one. I used the main blade to score the new piece on both sides. Then it was possible to cut off the excess with ordinary scissors. I made sure to place the cut along the right side of the door so the perfect cut is centered. You just bend the pieces a little and they pop right in, then put the pole back on and you're done! Took me less than 10 minutes. It's also amazing how much more light gets into the camper and how much better it looks overall! . I thought now is the time to make it nice and new. This resulted in the door not sliding as smoothly, but that will improve over time. * Installed on a 2003 Aerolite Cub Hybrid. *
