Wagner Semi-Metallic - the best of its kind! Semi-metallic is said to have more brake noise and dust. I didn't see it at all. I wanted pads that would not fade when a load is pulled. And I wanted the best heat dissipation. These brakes are amazing. If you use the cheapest brakes you run the risk of damaging the front impact area. I had some of the "cheapest" pads on my '98 Nissan Altima (no ABS). Driving on the Autobahn at 110 km/h, I had to brake hard to avoid a collision. My plan was to just let the wheels lock (no ABS) and then let go so the wheels don't skid. All I felt was the brakes gone. And my car kept going. On the same day I replaced the pads with semi-metal Wagner!
