High performance at a low price. Definitely recommend it! (As of Sep 2018)

UPDATE (1 year later): Lid still holds up except torn where the lid rests on top of the rack above the top drawer. The lid does not bear the load of the luggage rack underneath. I used tape on the lid and will continue to use it until it fails. Mine was fairly waterproof in very, very heavy downpours accompanied by strong gusts of wind. ADVANTAGES: Very high quality at a low price. Most other bike cases in this price range tend to be lightweight and tear easily. Most suitcases in this price range last a season, maybe a season and a half, in sun and rain. The suitcase was quite thin and about the size of a soccer ball. It was an XXL size that would fit both a full-size aluminum-bodied adventure bike and a full-size touring bike like the Harley ElectraGlide Limited and Honda Goldwing. Colorfast - so far so good. Most coatings begin to fade after a month of sun exposure. It's only been a month and the color is very strong. I will update this comment later. Breaks - so far so good. Most cheap covers begin to "tear" after a month of exposure to the sun with the appearance of tears in the fabric. These cases still look new after a month. It looked so "new" that it could have been returned as new (which of course I won't do). I will update this again over time. The reflective strips are a nice touch and make it easy to identify the front and back of the cover since the strips are only on the front. On my XXL suitcase, it's larger at the front (to fit in the fairing) and also larger at the back (to fit around suitcases/panniers). Waterproof. yes it is waterproof It is even waterproof due to water accumulation on the underside of the seat. This cover was made like a good tent - waterproofed with seam tape. CONS: No vents. After heavy rain, condensation creates moisture and droplets inside. A vent like Dawco motorcycles would help with condensation. The fabric is also breathable (not that I would expect that at this price point). It would have been nice to have a second strap on the front next to the front wheel lock hole. I've found that without a lock, the front of the lid sometimes rips up through the keyhole. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to be able to attach the front of the boot to the front wheel instead of just relying on the elastic inside the boot to hold the boot on the front wheel. The cover was single-layer and had no inner part. liners If you apply a good finish, the top coat may get scratched. I use it on my bike, it's all plastic and doesn't scratch anything, even the windshield. Unlined, it can be scratched by wind movement. The cover is made from the same fabric. It wasn't heat resistant so care must be taken when fitting the cap around the hot exhaust. I use this cover on a bike with a suspended exhaust so this is not a problem for me. At this price I wouldn't expect a soft inner layer to prevent scratching the bike, but using a more metallic material on the bottom to avoid heat damage would help. CONCLUSION: Very inexpensive for a motorcycle travel bag. Probably the best budget case if you don't want to spend too much money and can live with condensation and possible scratches on the clear coat of the case. If you are looking for an all round heavy duty cover and have a good bike like a Harley/Goldwing/BMW I wouldn't recommend this (see my Dawco WeatherAll Plus review for premium all weather cover).
