I originally bought it to use with my new Apple M1 laptop and I can finally explain my experience in more detail. PROS: Get a great value 32-inch 4k monitor that comes with a monitor arm and USB-C charging. All-in-one cable for your laptop (up to 60W of power is just enough for a Macbook Air or slim laptop) CONS: Display brightness and colors are AVERAGE for a 4K display, compared to high-end 4K -Displays. APPLE/LG 5k Monitor or iMAC Retina Display PROBLEMS: 1) When I wake up my connected laptop, the monitor happens to have a weird scaling issue and the desktop shrinks to 1/4 of the screen. I don't know exactly why this is happening, but I think it has to do with either the new macOS Big Sur operating system or the Apple M1 chip. 2) The USB hub on the monitor is unreliable and I'm losing connection to my wireless mouse and keyboard. connected to the back of the monitor (with a 2.4 GHz receiver). ns when I reconnect the USB-C cable to my laptop or reboot my laptop when connected. I ended up being lucky enough to have another laptop (a 2019 Macbook Pro running macOS Catalina) and as long as it was plugged in I never had any of the above issues. So if you don't have a laptop with macOS Big Sur + M1 chip, you might have a better experience.
