Review on SilBlade 2221 Premium Wiper Blade by Matt Barsa

Good quality wipers but not suitable for cars with curved windscreens

These are really good wipers - you can tell the quality is mostly due to the materials (and packaging) used. My only criticism of them is that while they are flexible, they still aren't flexible enough for cars and trucks with curved windshields. Take my truck for example. It's a Dodge Dakota 04. Like most cars these days, the windshield isn't just a flat sheet of glass, it's curved on the sides to improve aerodynamics and styling. These SillBlade wipers (like all wipers) do not match the curvature of the passenger side window. The last 1-2 inches of the blade ends an inch above the glass (see picture). I tried sizing it down a size or two thinking it would help, but it didn't. My guess is that my Dodge Dakota doesn't have the most curved windshield on the road, so other people must be having this issue. FYI for those with a windscreen like this, these are great wipers, but not in that regard. I wish they were a little more flexible. Unfortunately I have to stick with regular wipers (no jet) to avoid this problem.
