Review on Black Head Collar Halter for Dogs - Available in 6 Sizes by Brandon Wellard

I bought this collar on a whim thinking I might need something decent for my Doberman pinscher puppy in the future. Now he's 6 months old and it turns out we needed him sooner rather than later. I'm not a big fan of spiked collars, but I wanted control when walking this dog as he will be around 120 pounds when he grows up. I've used it twice since buying it a few weeks ago - I chose the medium size because other reviewers said it was large. The medium size is perfect (and I would say it's really big). At the moment it's at the minimum level, but I'm sure it will grow with it in adulthood. The nose is well stuffed and does not get in the eyes. I've had many compliments from people at my dog training club on how well it fits, which promises good results. My only comment is that the material is not thick. It's quite flimsy so I use a double ended leash, one that attaches to the collar and the other attaches to the harness for extra security - it seems pretty solid but I wouldn't risk it with a larger dog.
