Great for organization

My 1 kitchen drawer was a mess. I don't know how you can design a kitchen with 1 dish drawer and 1 very small towel drawer, but that's the predicament I live in. It probably wasn't that important because the kitchen is my least favorite room of all the rooms in the house. But having had a baby, I now understand the importance of the kitchen and the value of proper storage. Trying to keep that one drawer organized and able to open it was a pain. A night of insomnia led to the discovery of this drawer organizer. I thought about it for a while and I'm glad I bought it. I threw away my other organizer almost immediately. I know it's good when I see it, and it's really good. The only thing I don't like is that the top compartment doesn't have a "lid" like the others. I put my knives here because I have spoons, forks, butter/dining knives and plastic clothes in my drawer. Sometimes the knives move and the drawer looks dirty. I'll have to deal with this for a while as the plastic scuffs are on the bottom shelf (near the front of the drawer) so my 6 year old can easily grab his essentials. The side pockets are great. I wish they could expand/expand more because I have more stuff to put in them. Instead I used empty drawer space. I think it's more because I don't have enough drawers in my kitchen than the storage drawer itself. My sister came over and grabbed something and she was impressed that my drawer was finally organized. So I'm happy. But the real test will come when my mother notices and is happy about the cleanliness of the box. This is on my list of housewarming gifts. I know they will thank me.
