While there are a few complaints, if you choose the right app, this is great value for money. This is a medium precision slide at best, in an application that only requires low precision it should be fine, in a high precision application you will be disappointed. The screw is multi-threaded and seems to have a 10mm pitch, good when you need speed but not so good for accuracy, the nut also has a lot of play but again a relatively cheap thing. The glide shoes are noisy and feel a little rough under load, but not too bad under load.
