Ever since I got the Duex Pro it hasn't worked. It lights up, then it goes off. I have a mid 2010 MacBook Pro with High Sierra. I downloaded DisplayLink v4.3. DisplayLink appears in Extensions, not the USB to DisplayLink Adapter. I'll try it on another computer and also buy a USB-C adapter as recommended in another review. I really don't want to return this item. This seems like the right type of monitor I need for small workspaces and portability. Update: The company worked with me to fix the bug. The technician assigned to me was very nice and patient and explained different methods to solve the problem. I ended up having to switch the OS back to Sierra, download a different version of DisplayLink, and use a different USB-C to USB-A cable (not the one that came with it). Luckily I still had one at home. It wasn't an easy task, but it was worth it! Based on customer service and product functionality, my new rating is up.
